In the early 2000s, San Raimi crafted his Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man has not only appeared in the pages of comic books for years, but has also been the star of multiple TV shows and films. Spider-Man can do anything a spider can including the abilities to climb up walls, super-human strength, speed and agility as well as a precognitive spider-sense. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in August 1962 and was created by Stan Lee and the late Steve Ditko. Everybody has their favorite superhero, but there is no denying that Spider-Man is one of the most popular crime fighters.
